There is a narrative going around that popup software can drive more signups.
This isn't exactly honest.
You can drive more sign ups by increasing your offer and/or increasing the amount of popups you have on your website.
There are vendors out there that are claiming that their forms drive higher sign up rates.
This isn't actually possible without some manipulation.
If you're using Klaviyo and your sign up rate is 4% and you switch to another popup maker and all of a sudden your sign up rate is 10% the vast majority of the time it comes down to the second popup maker not having enough traffic exclusions on their forms or creating different settings behind the scenes that skew the numbers heavily to make it seem that you are achieving a higher sign up rate than you are.
Klaviyo or whoever your Email Service Provider is at the end of the day combines existing profiles together and then sends the appropriate amount of emails out to those that qualify.
